My fiance and I are getting ready to mail the intent of marry letter, also we included whatsApp conversation, facebook, phone calls log, pic that we took when i visited him November, and also receipt of money that i wire to his account for a land we purchased together, although my name is not on the purchase document. would that be enough evidence of our mutual intent to marry?

Where are you mailing this letter to? This was supposed to have been submitted with your K1 petition application and a revised letter is needed at the Consulate stage, you shouldn't have to mail it as a separate document. Also, the letter of intent is just that, a letter, no other proof is needed (of course, at the time of application you would have submitted divorce decrees, if any).

we forgot to include it with the application. so we got a rfe asking just for the letter of intent to marry. but we thought it would ge a great opportunity to submit extra evidence. everything will go to the VSC. some members say that the CO focus more on the evidence submitted with the initial application rather than the one at the interview

If they requested letters of intent because you didn't include them, then what you have listed is more than enough to fulfill that. When they ask for the letters of intent, honestly that is all they really want (from what I've read here). If they want evidence of an ongoing relationship they'd ask for that specifically. Best of luck.

Mrs Prince, they just asked you for the letter not the evidence of your relationship. On the RFE, they say if you have other supporting documents like a receipt of your purchased ring. All this is optional. Otherwise they just ask for your letter and your fiance's letters. You both sign them with blue ink so they won't look like copies just ORIGINAL. Good Luck!

Oh, OK. I guess submitting extra evidence can't hurt. We definitely provided evidence of ongoing relationship along with the initial petition, but it is not required. But better to submit than not. Best of luck!

No.....way too much....they only need the two signed letters of intent.

ok thanks..i though approval depends on more evidence

It is not needed for approval of the I-129F petition. However, it could be good to have it in your file already for the CO to see for the K-1 interview. If you want to send in extra evidence of your relationship, you can go ahead and do so. Just be sure the letters of intent they asked for are included and and top for them to easily find. Make sure the signatures on the letters of intent are originals. No scans or copies of any kind. Answering the RFE is most important.

Mrs. Prince

You will be going thru the same embassy that I went through. If your at the I-129F stage please just send them what they asked for. All the photos, land purchase, chats, wire transfers, etc you will need to send him for your K-1 package which will be very useful for the Consulate in Haiti. I can assure you what you are going to send him for your K-1 package the Consulate will be paying close attention to.

Yes if you go to travelstate.gov and in search just type form you will find all of those form. Remember when he receive instructions on package#3 it will ask for form DS-156 to be printed in Duplicate. That simply just mean they want you to print this form twice
