my husband is from the dominican republic and we married there in december. i cant afford a lawyer and im nervous about using websites like rapidvisa.com i could do the paperwork myself but im very new to this i dont really know where to begin. any and all help is appreciated please including a strict list of exactly what i need to include in the petition form

I felt the same way too but I did it all by myself , just follow the instructions and send it out , wait for your NOA 1 and NOA 2 once thats done you will be a pro by then no need to get any lawyers ok

Its a waste of money that you can use on the other stuff that they charge for like the medical and so on which is a whole lot ...

do i send financial status' with the petition or does that come after?

That will be included in your I-864(AOS) package. You'll do that once you reach NVC, after your petition is approved. You've got a few months before you need to worry about it. Make sure you've filed your 2012 taxes, though. You'll need them for that part. Good Luck! :thumbs:

not confusing , follow the rules on the form .

if you are worried look for an local church that will help with immigration forms for super cheap !
