Interview success in Charlotte + Green card

:dance: I had an interview in charlotte on 02/16/2006 and it was very very smooth interview. The immigration officer was very polite and kind. I was prepared very well and with me i have taken a lot of staff but the immigration officer asked me the following questions:

1-date of marriage

2-port of entry

3-tax return for 2004,2005(for me and for my wife.)

4-latter from employee (for me and for my wife.)

5-My wife is pregnant so he asked her When is the her due date?

6-later he asked me the common question like are violated the law?are u communist?and etc (questions from I-485)

7-finally he asked me my passport and remove it the I-94 and he stamped I-551 on my passport and he said my I-485 IS APPROVED and explained to me how to remove 2 year the conditional resident status and later he said that i will receive the green card between 3-10 weeks.

I was very glad b/c the interview last less than 15 minutes. I was worried about some stupid and wired questions but the officer it seems like well experienced person that is why he didn't ask me those stupid questions(like how do u meet?,evidence of relationship-photos,billstatements,pay stubs,insurance,bank statements & etc) any way it was very smooth interview.

On 2/24/2006 I had received WELL COME TO AMERICA letter.

On 2/27/2006 when i open my mailbox with surprise i got my GREEN CARD.

Dec. 10/04... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport stamped)

Sept. 9/06... I-751 sent to NSC

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Sept. 13/07... N-400 sent to NSC

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

05/29/2007 - Sent package to NSC

05/31/2007 - Package received by NSC

06/01/2007 - Date on NOA (1 day after they received our package!)

06/11/2007 - NOA and Biometrics notice received via snail-mail

06/21/2007 - Biometrics taken

04/03/2008 - Transferred to CSC

05/14/2008 - Approved (notified via email)

05/21/2008 - Card received

Oct 24....Receipt date

Nov 2.....AOS/EAD NOA date-rec'd Nov 4 via USPS.

Nov 4.....Checks cashed/Touched (AOS/EAD).

Nov 12...Rec'd AOS bio appt notice.

Nov 23...AOS Biometrics They also did EAD as I had my NOA, Sioux Falls, SD.

Dec 30....Rec'd AOS Interview Notice

AOS 06

Jan 9......EAD approved, email notice to say card ordered

Jan 11....EAD touched/email to say approval notice has been mailed

Jan 14....Rec'd EAD in mail

Mar 30....AOS Interview in St Paul, MN APPROVED!!

Apr 03....Welcome to America Notice rec'd & AOS 'Touched'

Apr 04....Email to say GC ordered

Apr 10....GC arrives in mail

Apr 11....Order new SS card without notation and rec new DL. I live here now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

09.23.2009......Embassy receives Notice of Readiness

10.13.2009......Received our interview date

10.29.2009......Successful interview!

11.5.2009........Visa received in post

11.7.2009........All the family flew to the US together :)

12.20.2009......Received Welcome to America letter

12.24.2009......10 year Greencard received in the mail
