Does anyone really care who celebrates valentine's day or not? It's basically turned into a day where you get to pay $50 for a bunch of roses that would cost $10 any other day of the year. If you're a real romantic throw in another $50 for a $10 box of chocolates.

Like many holidays, 9 out of 10 people can't give more than a cursory explanation of what the day even means. It silly to get worked up over why other people don't celebrate it, when most people don't even know why they do celebate it.
