Many people say they do not update their timelines because they do not know how.

Can you please make it easy from the homepage. Right now it is a few too many clicks

Have a big lettered banner that states UPDATE TIMELINE

Thank you

I like the idea to put a link for people on the homepage if they have not updated their timeline in a certain amount of time. I may try to add that feature (a reminder on the home page).

And if possible, can we also get the timeline to include other things that we might do, for example, contact USCIS directly, case transfers, or contacting NVC...

There are guides and the wiki for that information. This is a self help site and to be honest, you'll have to do a little work and not expect someone to walk you through, holding your hand. I agree that some of the guides do need to be updated but at least we have them and then there are others who are willing to help.

edit: I only say this because I like the site the way it is. I enjoy the social interaction aspect, the guides and wikis are really helpful and the information is there to access. I don't see any point personally in making it any easier when it's laid out as well as it is already.

i say redesign the mobile version, or make a mobile version of this portal.

timeline edit? it's in a dropdown.

finding guides? it's a clickable menu thingie.

...all from using a web-browser on a PC.

SO MANY FOLK use a handphone browser here, and miss out on about 80 percent of the functionality of the site.

Uncle Darnell uses Opera WebBrowser on a PC, and it rocks!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
