N-400 February 2013 Filers

I made the package for my wife and included a cover letter with her A#, application type, and list of contents. She is applying based on the 3 year rule, but I didn't include my name (just said something like "based on my marriage to my US citizen husband"). I don't think it's needed, but it helped me organize it.

Thanks for the responses. I have one more question. If I send my N-400 through USPS Express Mail, do I really need to use address #2 or just use address #1, after all it's still with USPS?

Re #2 - I have signatures disabled because some of them are ridiculously long

Hope you get it in time, if you don't, you can just follow later.

Unfortunately not the case. We are filing under s 319(b) which you can't apply for until 90 days out of the date you are leaving the country under orders!

If it doesn't come through in time, then I go with my husband to Germany- period. I'm on his orders which means I have to go with him on the military plane we have been booked on!

We've planned for it not coming through in time- I'll fly back on my own for the oath & ceremony. Thankfully we've got savings set aside just incase!

The "express" address is because companies like FedEx and UPS can't deliver to PO Boxes so those ones MUST use the street address. For USPS you can use either address because they'll deliver either way.

We just received the NOA 1 Letter today 25 February I-797C. Now awaiting the Bio appointment letter. We mailed the N400 package on 13 February 2013 and USCIS Lewisville Texas Lockbox received it on 14 February 2013. We mailed it Overnight Express from the USPS.

Now in the waiting mode again but not like when waiting for the K-1 I-129 Petition Approval!

Does anyone know how you request to take the oath the same day as the interview? Can the request be made in advance or do you have to ask before the interview? We have plans on going back to visit the Philippines in September or October and we plan on staying 2 to 3 months. We do not want to risk being in the Philippines when a letter arrives informing me of my Oath date and time and miss it. :unsure:
