Received a reminder to lift conditions

Despite what has been put out in the guides, and what I've heard from other filers, Last week we received a letter from USCIS. It was warning us that my wife's status was going to expire soon and that we needed to file I-751. That was unexpected (maybe they are desperate for money now!), however we were already well aware and had most of the required documents assembled. Has anyone else gotten reminders like this?

The reason it's in the guides like that is some people DO NOT. It is sent to the originally filing address. If the guide said "you MIGHT get a reminder notice" people would be worried if they didn't.

The point is, remember your dates yourself and don't rely on USCIS or anyone else to remember for you.

p.s. This is a not a K1 qn. This is a qn about ROC (I-751) so you should be posting there. You haven't needed the k1 forum for at LEAST 2 years.
