are you saying your case waas denied? or are you complaining about not getting aproved yet? It seems as though it's only been 3 months for you. you need to patiently wait in line like everyone else here. there are tons of people waiting for more than 6 months.

The majority of cases filed in September and October have not yet received their NOA2s. Many cases from as early as June and July are not approved yet.

I know it's a long wait. My husband and I are doing the best we can with a filing date about 2 weeks after yours. The estimated time for approval on my timeline is wildly inaccurate, but it's based on just a handful of early-decided cases.

Do you have some reason to believe that your case will take much longer than average?

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

All advice is given pursuant to the Disclaimer that you may read at the bottom of each forum page.

LATEST STEPS:

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

Not exactly, but is desperate to be changing Service Center. I think something informal, warning you not to have changed your pending case!

I'm not even sure I'm understanding what you're saying here.

Trying to piece together a coherent conversation:

(Question by speedwell) Do you have some reason to believe that your case will take much longer than average?

(Answer by OP) Not exactly, but is desperate to be changing Service Center. I think something informal, warning you not to have changed your pending case!

I think in the last sentence the OP is trying to say they tried to change their case and they think it slowed them down somehow?

This is purely theoretical and I don't even think this makes complete sense.

I don't think your case was EVER at CSC, based on NOA-1 date of October.

Please review yer I-797c formletter, the receipt notice, (we call it a NOA-1 here)

and let us know the first three letters of the receipt number?

Thanks !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Ms Hogan: My case is still in the range of 5 months, my concern is that they changed to another local service center, in this case would be New Orleans!

The first three letters is WAC

That's the California Service Center. Check this recent post: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/387105-i-130-july-2012-filers/page__view__findpost__p__5907895

How do you know you're in New Orleans?

Your petition would have been forwarded from California to Missouri.

Did you then receive notice of movement to New Orleans?

oh well, time to call an ISO (see ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/files/publications/gc_1305658440339.shtm )

and ask an ISO where the casefile is.

Good Luck !
