I know I have been a member of this forum for a while.. But still there is the side of me still thinking if they are still gonna approve my papers.. I know they will but the question is when? 2 years from now , 3 years or 5 years or what! The longest I saw here was 1 year and 6 months.,. I can hold on to that but not 2 years and beyond.. I am almost 10 months this January and made everything already.. sigh!

That really is a long time to wait for your NOA2. What have you done to try and move the process forward for you? Have you been given any reason? Try not to lose faith, you will get there. I honestly think the visa process is designed to make you give up,its complicated and illogical and causes such stress on even the very best of relationships. Keep in mind why you started this journey and focus only on that. Good luck

Yes we did congress, senator and ombudsman.. everytime they call USCIS, they just repeat on whatever the USCIS told them, and they just told us wait cuz they have nothing more to say or do.. The hold up is they said they need additional review for my case for another 2 mos.. so that is 10 plus 2 months.. My one year will be this March.. one year of waiting.. damn!

Teague, you and the other long waiters are in my thoughts. I'm so sorry for what you are going through.

Does anyone have any statistical breakdown or chart on how many applications are approved before the expected time, around the expected time, after the expected time, significantly after the expected time, something like that?

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

LATEST STEPS:

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

Saylin has some stats, but you'll have to interpret and extrapolate it to see the data points you are seeking.

Bonus points for you for finding it in her signature or in a Monthly NVC Thread ;)

Any movement this week?

Didn't you have to respond to an RFE? What's the status on that?

Ok.. My husband said, the expedite was denied 1st week of dec 2012.. at the end of dec we had a service request respond saying they will need another additional review within 2 months.. and then 1st week of January we received email again that the additional review is another 6months.. well , I really dont get them,, they make me confuse.. Do you have idea someone who been with this and got approval eventually?
