Just curious, as I already have case complete (!!!!!!!), but I sent in my AOS pack before my IV pack. For those who send the packs together, what "attn:" do you use? Because the IV pack gets "attn: CMR" and the AOS pack gets "attn: CMR AOS"????

Whatever it says on the bar-coded sheet.

I know I got a checklist so my new bar-coded sheet is Attn: DR

And I can't believe you put 900 pages of stuff together!!!! OMG... you shipped a whole friggin box. I'm hoping yours is passed on to the embassy so mine doesn't get buried underneath it!! LOL. My masterpiece is like my daughter's coloring book to your Picasso.

I haven't had the pleasure of making Saylin's acquaintance yet. I have been missing out I guess hiding in MENA.

Well March hopefully you get case complete in time and there isn't a long line in front of you.

I am on phone so can't see ur country. Have you checked with your countries forum to see what is the usual waits.

I know NVC is really doing much better with processing and faster.

So let's hope and pray for fast fast and March interviews.

Yes, but if AOS is attn something and IV is attention something else, how do you send them both together?

called NVC today and was told our case was completed last January 14, 2013. How long do they usually schedule interview in Manila?

I just contacted USCIS and asked to speak/transferred to a Tier 2 and was informed that that option is no longer available. My options are to send an email or leave a message for a Tier 2 to call me back. Has anyone else been told this?

Well Darnell nothing to report. I sent my DS-230 package (20 lbs) as you know. And on the 17th they reviewed and did what they said they would do and checklisted me for the documents.

So I called NVC and talked to Gus (coolest guy there) and asked if he lost the round of rock paper scissors and looked through my package. Lol

Than I told him about my waiver letter and he instructed me the correct way to go about it.

I am to send NVC an unobtainable documents letter and requesting my case to be complete.

He said NVC will give up trying to get documents from me and have the beneficiary deal with embassy. So as he told me "make sure you have the documents at interview"

So I wrote it up last week (and after much ummmm happenings going on) it was finally mailed (regular mail) to NVC yesterday 1/23.

So my current NVC status is I am waiting for Case Complete which should come in about 10 days I figure.

I will keep ya posted. You know me now.

Just get the two packages ready to go (if they're not already ready). Then review them every single day to see if you can catch any errors.

The 2 would be affidavit of support and DS-230, right?

We paid our $88 fee, how long does it usually takes for NVC to request the first package?

When u paid the fee you need to print off the bar-coded page and mail it in.

How long ago did you pay? Does it say paid yet? They aren't going to ask you for anything. You already got the email yes that said your AOS would be invoiced and where to go.

Please go back to the beginning of this thread and read post #1 and #2. NVC if you hope to get through in a timely manner is very proactive on your part.

This is why I've been reading so much, especially here on VJ, I really want to understand the process and go fast.

VJ processing times currently indicate 135 days for NVC.

Do you feel like this could be a lot faster by being proactive?

I'm not sure I have read enough of other people's experiences to really get a feel for it.

Than you are invoiced for AOS once they receive its about 7 to 10 days to accept. Same for the DS-230.

It should say paid within 48 hours. Heck I had that package off the next minute after paying it was a friday and said paid monday bit it was already sent.

I was just thinking about how long from NOA2 until a NVC case number can be issued and you gave me a good estimate. I've been seeing so many different time frames. Since it's been 2 weeks since we got our NOA2, that means it's almost about time that I should be getting an NVC case number soon. I'm glad you said it's not going to take another 135 days to be entirely processed at NVC! If it did, I'd be pulling my hair out (it's been falling out a lot more ever since we've started this process anyway).
