Sorry to hear about his visitor visa was denied.

The last time I saw my fiancé was April 22 2012, at 10:50pm at the airport. Actually it has been 8 months and 8 days already, but I am going to see my sweet potato again in the next 13 days from now  I am so excited and I can't wait to celebrate our 2 years anniversary together (L)

Again, good things will come to those who wait = PATIENCE

Two years anniversary? that's fantastic! It was a sad moment separating from the airport. I'm so happy for the two of you! It'll be honeymoon in paradise lol. How did you survive for the eight months being separated? Happy Anniversary. Are you two married?

:( THE LAST TIME I SAW MY FIANCE was on 21st march at 10:pm.it was raining at the AIRPORT THAT DAY WE BOTH COULDNT SAY GOODBYE.It broke my heart to watch him leave,i miss him everyday even though i see him everyday on skype and get to watch him walk through the door from a harddays work,it heartbreaking to watch him cook by himself and do the lundary, cos as a Ghanaian woman we are trained to worship our husbands and treat them like royalty.watching him do all these stuff on his own breaks my heart i feel so sorry for him cos i know he needs me.when he was in Ghana he would complain about how i would put everything of his in order even before he woke up from bed.it hurts a bit more eachday but i get strenght through the word of God,knowing in my heart that oneday i would wake up beside the man i love never to sign onto skype anymore. You should take solace in the fact that everyday u get coser to sharing a lifetime with the one you love .It will soon end.just dont keep counting the days becuase that will only make you feel more lonely.Take one step at a time.everything will be over soon.Dont forget to say a prayer everyday.God be with u :)

Girl, that's very long time without your love. How much long do you have to wait for? Mine lives by himself too and does everything by himself. He is a Ghanian and as I learned it's very hard to get a visitor visa in Ghana. We should keep in touch to motivate each other. Mine works a lot and rarely eats home meal. Can't wait for me to permanently be with him. Only prayers can carry us through this rough paths of our lives. I face requested you as a friend lol.

June 18th 2012 for 8 days. A surprise visit for the little one's 4th birthday and she was very happy. The Fiancee was just as excited to see me considering it was 19 months since the last time I saw them. Now we are 30 days away from the Interview and she is starting to get nervous. She is realizing that it is really happening and in a few months we can be a whole family.

I last saw my fiance in July and plan to go back in a month. He also applied for a Tourist visa but was denied and I know it will come up during the K1 interview. We have known each other for over 30 years but besides visiting for two weeks or three week when I go home, we have never lived together as a couple, so we both wanted a chance to try this before applying for a fiance or marriage visa and get to know each other's habits, etc. in order to avoid any future "thorns." C'est la vie! Regardless of what happens, he will continue to be my best friend, love of my love and my first (and last) crush (L)

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

I wouldn't see mine until July only if I visit him. Still gathering documents to file the K1. I saw him a month ago for few days. He was denied visitor visa because they don't think he'll return to Ghana :-( . Miss him can not believe I have to wait for such a long time to see him again :-( . Need something to keep me going so post your sob story here.

April 30,2012 last day I was with my love. almost 6 month since filing K1 hope to hear something in the next few weeks.....

The last time that I saw my Fiancee was in April. We're getting married this Saturday and I hope to see her at each opportunity that I can get a cheap flight.

For the Africans on board, it's imposible for a young person to get a tourist visa from Ghana/Nigeria, especially Males and even more so if they fess up that they have a SO in the US. Thankfully, based on prior threads on here, the denial of a tourist visa does not have an impact on K/IR/CR1 visas.

Yes I heard it's hard to get a visitor visa especially it's considered a high risk country. But still keeping my hopes to one day live with him.

Are you going to be present at your wedding though. Congrats to you!

Mine is very busy with work and school so I Greece to wait until school ends for him so he can have enough time to spend with me. Good luck to you dear.

Aww sorry for the denial of the visa. It's a heart break when you get such a sad news. But don't worry of things not working out after meeting. just be yourself and everything will work out. I was like that with my significant other before I met him. I had lots of what ifs on my mind. But when we met, everything was so great. He was so sweet to me. So just go with confidence and hope for the best. good luck to the two of you.

Well I left Nigeria and my beloved husband September 27th, 2011 to come back file and start working on Affidavit of Support. If not for that I-1864 form I would still be with my husband.

Now 15 months later I miss him like crazy. Some major drama with him sending me the DS-230 package (we been trying since 9/10....5 months today at NVC we have been) but happy to say it's in town and to be delivered either tomorrow or Wednesday so we can send off and get case complete and interview looking like March.

I plan to go back to Nigeria soon as Passport Center finds my passport application (more drama) and I will be staying in Nigeria until interview and Visa in hand and coming back with my husband. Thank God.

I saw her last month and ready to go back now. Like others I just try to keep busy with things. I have to get the bedroom ready for her girls so that will keep me a little busy, plus work will help however little because all I do is think about her.
