Getting US Passport after oath ceremony

Our oath ceremony is complete and my wife has her naturalization certificate now.

How long does it take to get US passport after applying for it? Is there a separate forum on this topic as I was unable to find it...

Took mine about 2 weeks

You can get it in one day if youa re willing to go to a passport office in person.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Who knows? We paid for expedient service for my wife, for whatever reason, her application was sent to the New Orleans office right after Katrina hit, took it three weeks to get her passport back. Wife felt insecure without it.

Was in no rush for my stepdaughter, used the same clerk of court in town, didn't pay for expedient service, was processed in the Chicago office and got hers back in eleven days.

I had to renew my passport during that Canadian rush, so paid the expedient fee four months before our trip was planned, when within a month of leaving, called them every day. Was told their online processing times was a joke. They did manage to get my passport to me the morning I was suppose to leave. Finally got hold of an intelligent officer.

I got mine in exactly 170 minutes. Had an appointment at the passport agency at 9:00. Dropped off my paperwork and went to breakfast. Came back at 11:50 and everything was ready.

I'm just curious (and for future reference) what types of passport agencies do that?

EDIT: Nevermind.....found the info myself.
