If you just recieved your first notice of action, Congrats on that, You have a serveral months to go before receving the NOA2 (notice of action 2 which is the approved petition) so at the point all you can do is wait, read the guides and get familiarized with the forms and the next step.

Read the guides so you know what to fill out and send to the fiancée once you receive the NOA2. Have a lot of patience since it will be months before you get a reply and stay positive for the both of you. I will say the last 2 months seem more like 6 months since I got my NOA1 and I still have another 3 - 4 months to wait. But all good things take time and they do not come easy. Congrats on starting your journey.

I agree with what everyone else has said.. read the guides and prep for the next steps while you wait. Once your petition is approved, things can move quickly if you are ready for each step.

03/07/11: I-130 package sent to Chicago Lockbox

03/14/11: NOA1 via text and email (03/21/11: in the mail); petition routed to VSC

07/27/11: NOA2 via text and email (07/30/11: received in the mail)

08/01/11: Case received at NVC

09/19/11: Case complete and forwarded to consulate

10/19/11: Interview (APPROVED!!!)

after sendig the paper work for K1 , i receive a I797C, no is this my NOA1 ? if it is then what are the next step or things i should do
