Aghh!! Is anyone notifying USCIS that they should change the information on their webpage if this is now the case. I am really worried that this is going to happen to me. Did you receive notification of the RFE through email as well (assuming you signed up for electronic notification.)

No I didnt and even my case status online still says initial review. Yes I signed up for email notification. Maybe because its at a local office (i am assuming) you know how that goes when you assume.

Here is a copy of my letter from USCIS local office

Adjudicator Martinez is wrong. Thanks for posting the letter.

Apparently West Palm Beach is not using the same adjudicators manual as CSC and VSC.

@#$@$@$@$@#$@%%%$@@@ and @#$ .

But you got to send in what they asked for, regardless.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

You think it would hurt to include a letter or sticky note with the current regulations about birth certificates so that this stops happening to other people?

He is saying that the birth certificate for the beneficiary is not a requirement any more but all of these local offices are using old information to adjudicate the petition and asking for the birth certificate. It is frustrating because it takes time to get the RFE and get the BC and then send it in and wait for them to say yes and approve it.

Ok I understand now. You are right because when you send in your information it never mention BC for spouse at this point in time. Its only ask for USC birth certificate with the I-130.
