Wind power seems to be especially deadly to Americans.

That's because work is being done in ways that most developed countries would consider unacceptable. Worker safety doesn't count for much around here - these are just poor schmucks that are easily replaced with other poor schmucks. Change that attitude and you will drive down the deaths - not just in wind power.

Might have something to do with the EU producing far more wind power than the US. Taking the deaths per unit, the US books far more deaths than the EU.

They seem to be perfectly content to burn TREES (biomass fuel)

Here in environmental central...Vermont, they can't keep enough pellet stoves in stock to meet the demand for burning TREES. The logging industry is one of the world's most dangerous jobs.

The Burlington Electric power plant burns a TRAIN LOAD of trees every day.
