My boyfriend sent over the I-129F papers in August and he signed them in August. We are just getting to send them off (due to some family problems, financial problems, etc.) and we are concerned that them being signed in August will be a problem since we are filing them now in November. Does that make any sense? Does anyone know if this would create a problem? Thanks!

Are you the USC? Are you referring to the signed dates on the g-325a? If you are the USC then you could simply prepare a new I-129f and resign.

My fiancee signed her g-325a when I returned from my last visit but she still is trying to get me the other documentation for the filing (divorce decree, etc..) and it may be a few weeks yet before I have the package complete. I do not expect a problem.

I would not expect it to be a problem. USCIS does know that the applications involve two people who are living in different countries and that the paperwork doesn't all materialize on the same date. As long as the information is up to date and still valid, I don't think you should have a problem for this particular form. I know that our forms and letters all had varying dates on them as well because we signed them when we completed the forms and documents at different times.

I don't think there is anything to worry about.

If your form is not expired it is fine...

Thanks to ALL of you! My boyfriend said just a bit ago that he didn't think it would be a problem as long as all the info was still accurate and it is. But, we worry. We just want to do things right so that there won't be a problem. Nerve-wracking!
