The border guard assumed that my fiance had given me my car because it had an Obama/Biden sticker on it. I said no, but he gave me the sticker to put on the car. He then asked me if I voted in the election. I'm Canadian! I've never been given a hard time about crossing to pick up/visit my fiance.

The border guard must've been a Republican.

Just crossed the border flying from Edmonton on the 25th. Officer actually stamped my passport this time. Simple questions asking when I was returning, where I worked, where he worked and when we were married.

Nice little airport honestly. OODLES of plug ins for laptops etc.

Cody! You still haven't gotten your greencard yet?? Or maybe (since I'm a bit behind lol) you have and are already in the US with your family.

FYI - I filed redress and have crossed twice (once by car & once by air) and both times I had NO issues at the border. No secondary (which seems to be a miracle to me - I was in secondary so much I knew several officers by sight).

I'd say go ahead and file redress, it certainly seems to have worked for me.

Just moved in October, married December, and just sent out AOS today!!!!!!!

Sidenote: Moving down across the Detroit border was a breeze, had an awesome immigration officer and will ask to see him if I ever get harassed there again. He personally told me if he was wrong about my ATV papers he would fax them to me so I didn't have to come up to the border to get them. He also told me my package was one of the best he ever seen and asked me how much I paid a lawyer to do it.. I was flattered!
