This is going to sound really stupid, but EVERY photo I had gathered for my photo evidence of me and my fiancee was an original, and I had well over the number I needed, so I wanted to add a picture of me and my fiancee kissing just for the hell of it... the only one that had us kissing in it that I could find on my computer was one with a photoshop effect, just to make it look "cooler", so I had that copied and didn't think much of it because it was the 12th photo for evidence and all the others were normal, clear, untouched photos. I didn't even THINK about it until now, but I JUST sent the packet off today and am really getting paranoid that they might reject the whole application because of this one photo with an effect... did I screw up???

We sent a couple of photos that were prints from Instagram. Our petition was approved, so I wouldn't fret over one photo, especially since photos are secondary evidence.

ahhh that's nice to hear, thanks... yeah I submitted way more evidence than necessary, so hopefully they won't take the altered photo "too seriously"... it's not like i added or took away anything from the photo, just made it look more like a painting with the particular effect

Dont worry at all! When i sent my package more than a year ago, some of my pics had hearts shapes and sparks....girly stuff! Not only that I had no rfe but my whole process took 6 month (not saying that having this "cool" pics made my process quicker) but definitely, I had no issues at all

Dont worry, besides, think for a min, when we are in love it is normal having this kind of stuff (letters with heart shapes, tons of pics kissing, hugging, making faces) and since instagram came up, most of the couples in this world have at least a romantic photo made with this cool effects. So I wont be so worry, :)

Yeah, i guess i was just being paranoid! I just don't want to make any mistakes and have this process take longer than it has to. Being away from each other for months at a time is already bad enough, I'm sure you guys know.

Couples who have the intention to marry and have a legitimate relationship that will lead to long term marriage SHOULD be kissing before any petition is filed. It would raise an eyebrow if you weren't at that stage.
