I called last night and they entered a claim for me as well since Indianapolis local was also processing 11/15/12 and our fee was accepted 10/31/12. I was also told to wait 15 days and then check back

Yes, after a long wait I finally received a green card. No interview either!

Came here on K1 visa and received a green card that expires in 10 years. Expiration date is 07/2023. I thought that first greencard would only be good for 2 years?!

Did anyone else receive a permanent resident card that expires in 10 years??

Have you been married for more than 2 years? If so, the 10 year Green Card would be the correct one. If under 2 years of marriage, you should recieve a 2 year conditional Green Card.

Just got done with an interview...WE ARE APPROVED....super easy, less than 5 minutes...So - now we are good for about 2 years than again...smile.png Good luck to all of you still waiting

The first card should be for two years. You should call and explain the mistake. They made the mistake, not you. My wife got her card, and it expires 7/26/15.

Will call them on Monday and find out what happened. Thanks

I got a letter in the mail that I have been approved. No interview, no other warning.

Aos:

10-01-12. Sent AOS, AP and EAD

10-09-12- Recieved NOA's for forms

10-24-12- Successfully walked in for biometrics (originally scheduled for 11-08-12)

11-26-12- Made info pass appointment for emergency advance parole. Denied, but agent called service center to request an expedite.

11-28-12- Agent at Infopass called me to let me know service center approved my request.

12-01-12- Advance parole received in the mail (2 page version, not combo card)

Finally!!!

On August 21, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

No interview, but did need to go get background checks/clearances from the City, County, and State police departments August 9 and then mail them in on August 12 to the local USCIS in Oklahoma City. Good luck everyone that is still waiting.

P.S. Hope it's a 10 year one, since we've been married over 2 yrs.

We also received 10 year GC. From my understanding we should of received 2 year conditional GC. I guess USICS made a mistake. You need to check.

Thanks and hope you get yours soon foreignrelations. @s2kroma, we've been married for over two years...from my understanding that's why we have the 10 yr GC. Lol if that's not the reason, then I'm not gonna inquire though :) Unless I hear something else.

For AOS of K1/K2 from Philippines....

Got our approval letter, dated 9-11 (God Bless America!)!! After 11 months from submission, I contacted our congressman and contacted a family friend in the House of Reps...within a few weeks, we got this notice! Waiting on the card, but it's all good!

Congratulations chrismanilyn! I put in a request with my senator's office last week, so I hope that will get results for us too. Did you see a change in your status online, or did the letter come out of the blue? (Just curious because I check the online status obsessively.)
