Hi, My wife and I have our Interview on 10/15 in San Bernardino I am 24 years old and she is 20. I was looking over what kind of evidence other than pictures I can take we live with my parents all bills come to my dads name, I have horrible credit so I had her open her own accounts. She just got here so I cant provide taxes we do live together it is a real relationship but I can just provide pictures. I pay for her health insurance its to her name but I pay it out of my personal checking account. I'm just worried on what kind of evidence I can provide any help is appreciated.

Humm no pictures of the wedding? No pictures of all of you with your family? Can't you start taking pictures now?

On everything else, since I haven't had my interview yet, I'll let the others chime in... I can't think of anything else to show other than the things you said you can't show at all.

There is no reason why she can't be on a joint checking account. A checking or savings account has no bearing on a credit score - it's not one of the things that gets reported.

Had my interview a week ago. And we took Life insurance and 401k with both of us on it, Lease of our apt, joint bank account statements (by the way officer asked for the joint bank account statements; "do you have a joint bank account?") car insurance with both us on it, pictures of wedding & family pictures.

'

In your case, you can always open a joint bank account saving/checking even if your Credit is bad. Then use that account so you'll have some transactions on it. Also use it for the direct deposits of your salary. I think you'd also be able to put you guys under the same car insurance. use cell phone bills with both under same plan etc.
