It seems that people who get cases closed during the period the NVC is scheduling don't get dates for that "in the process of being scheduled" month.

But then again, I don't work at NVC so IDK.

There's not really a cut off I know you are trying to figure this out but many here forget we are probably 1% of the interview pie. When you get to Case Complete yes you are in the interview queue. Now this is where that most valuable Receipt date (or priority date) the date USCIS recieved you. That trumps all others. Like me getting NOA1 3/15 lets say I have case Complete today someone comes along before 3/15 for Lagos Case complete they will get interview before me. I know many here are waiting but look at alll these VSC's been waiting 8,9, 12 months once they get Case Complete they are at the head of the crowd. Then there's the rest of the NVCers outside of VJ..

You just have to wait and hope. MOst embassies say 2 to 4 months to even get an appointment for interview. Hang in there its coming. Someone just reported today they got interview date in Jordan on the November thread so its still happening.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Please Please put your VJ member name only. Not nicknames or real names whatever your VJ name is. It's below your profile picture!!

Hey Bork, when you called in after your case was closed, did they tell you the embassy was booked?

I did not call, my wife called (the NVC). That was back in the middle of July. NVC completed our case on July 2nd, is what my wife was told. On September 17 I received an email from the NVC saying my interview had been scheduled for October 9. The embassy later re-scheduled it for September 28.

That's interesting about the priority date - though not good news for us since our priority date was only on August 1st (got fast tracked at USCIS - living abroad). May not make a big difference though, since from my research nobody seems to end up waiting too long at Bangkok.

Where did you hear that?

On a related note, I was told on the phone yesterday that interviews are assigned whenever each embassy contacts the NVC telling them they're ready for more.

But you are assuming that everyone in queue for dates are behind you for your embassy. Some of these embassies are mass busy. and some take forever Ghana you may wait 4 to 6 months for interviews than another month to 6 weeks to get Passport back with Visa. What can I say its weird. Maybe something is going on downthere they can't talk about so they have held things up.

Try calling NVC or DOS and just asking. I have called NVC many times and just to talk and ask questions and they have told me alot. How they are working OT, saturdays how they process stuff very interesting.

Ullnvrkno we have become the New Mr. Borkstrom. I amd sure I will still be here until end of year. I am growing impatient and frustarted waiting on mail that may or may not come. Wondering when to say to husband "ya got to redo all the documents again and send" Why we all can't be electronic processing is beyond me.

I mean I look at 31 days days loat after NOA2 by CSC. Finally case gets to NVC than forever fror a case# (17 days). Than this IV BILL document waiting. Husband goes to post office sends we should get in 12 days. Thats 9/24. Nothing so he goes to post office to complain on 9/28 they say "oh sorry we sent out late" it will be there by next week. Now here I am 10/10 still nothing.

I see all the people I was ahead for Lagos and they are either already interviewed and ready for POE or this month all getting interviewed. And I am at least 2 to 3 months away from even dreamin of an interview. So that 3 month NOA2 just doesn't seem such a hot great thing right now.

But at least I get to hang out with ya'll and well help where I can when I can. Thats all we really can do. PAY IT FORWARD.!!

LOL I do all the time and I get ignored. BUT I know it's a.) unproductive and b.) REALLY annoying to see someone constantly complaining and whining and throwing self-pity parties. I try not to but... ugh I just can't help it. :/
