hi everyone ..

i came on fiance visa and got married. We filed my AOS and i765 together withing 90 days of my arrival after getting married ...

But in i-765 i selected option a6 instead of c9..

i have NOA 1 and bio metrics but havent got my EAD yet ... Its around 2 months that we filed the application for EAD ...

So does A6 or C9 affect the application ..and if it does how should i change it now ?

Please helpme as soon as possible

No idea but you can't change it. Wait and see, maybe they will send you a RFE, or maybe they will correct it by themselves?

If you selected option 'a6' as you stated below, then that is the right option for K-1! Or are you a bit confused? I selected option a6 for K1 and got my EAD within 64 days from filing date. Good luck!

No, it's c 9 for K-1. Re-read the instructions. a 6 is for K-1 filing for EAD without AOS (typically before AOS). c 9 is for K-1 filing for EAD with AOS, or an AOS application pending.

Maybe they corrected your form for you, as I guess it's a common mistake.

If you think it will help, by all means, do it. If anything, they will say NO, we can't modify it..right?

It depends. Can be right now as it can be in months, or never if your AOS is approved without interview. Wait and see, at least you can work now. :)
