K-1 package, I just noticed my password doesn't have 2nd visit stamp

Hi, I was just getting my things ready for the k-1 package and I went to Ecuador in feb 2012 and July 2012 and I cannot find on my password the July 2012 stamps.

What should I do? Will the plane tickets, and pic do it?

And I think I remember them stamping it, maybe had no ink or is a special glow in the dark ink? Lol what should I do? Will I be okay without the stamp as long as I have the plane tickets?

Documentary Proof of Having Met in Person in the Past Two Years and an Ongoing Relationship:

Use as many of these items are possible. There is no minimum, but the more you can provide the less likely you are that you will receive an RFE. Additionally, please note that providing proof of your ongoing and genuine relationship in this package may benefit you by allowing the consulate to have access to this information prior to them formally contacting the non US Citizen fiance. Many high risk consulates approach cases with a skeptical eye and providing this information early on in the original I-129F package will help them in their preliminary review of your case.

1. Copies of all airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps (make sure you can read the dates on the stamps), and other documentary evidence that you have met within the last two years. You may want to highlight or place post-it notes indicating the dates and locations on the copies (to make the adjudication easier) for the person reviewing your file.

2. Color Photo's of you and your fiance(e) together. Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's. If you only have a single copy of the photo, then make a color copy and send that. If it is a digital photo, have it printed at a company such as kodakgallery.com. You can also make duplicates of photo's at your local photo store (Walgreeens, CVS, etc). Place photo's in a plastic bag or photo sheet and label the sheet. Note that you may not receive originals of photo's back.

3. The following items will not typically show proof of having met in the last two years however will show proof of an ongoing relationship: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate letters and emails, stamps on the letters (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

Read the highlighted portions and use other types of evidence indicated.

Thanks to AB for complete breakdown but I am sure you mean your passport stamps. They are sometimes hard to read and dates. I had a little trouble with reading mine when filling out custom and immigration forms during my 4 travels to Phils. Just make good copies of all pages in passport and as you know, copies of all travel in previous post.

Feb 2012 is a neat stamp to use. You just have to demonstrate that you've met at least once in the past 2 years. Feb 2012 counts as well. The plane tickets alone aren't proof however plane tickets along with e.g. credit card statements that you used your credit card in Ecuador would be proof backing up each other.

What USCIS needs is proof from 3rd party agencies such as stamp from CBP because they are easily trusted, easy for USCIS to look up your travel pattern/info and it's hard to fake that evidence. When using the passport stamp(s) make sure to either submit a copy of the bio-page, or a copy of the entire passport.

This question might sound dumb, but do I make copies of the empty page as well? I mean there is a total of like 24 pages and only one has stamp side to side.

Unless things have changed in the last year or so, Ecuador Immigration Control (at the Quito & Guayaquil airports) sticks a passport page into a computer printer, which records your date and exact time of entry (and exit).

If a printer is down, Immigration Control will typically route you to a check station where the printer IS working. If all else has failed them and they must use an ink-stamp, they make very sure that it's legible.

If you entered at a land crossing (such as La Balsa, in the far south from Peru), they probably used an ink-stamp. They'll still make sure that it's legible.

Did you perhaps save a carbon copy of the skinny form that you fill out on the airplane and show to Exit Control upon your departure from Ecu?

Aside from the above, your boarding passes (and luggage tags) from the trip will suffice as evidence of that trip. The plane tickets alone don't prove that you actually made the trip; they merely confirm that a ticket was purchased, but not necessarily used.

In July, did you take any flights or bus trips internally within Ecu, especially together with your fiancee? Did you stay at a hotel together, and were both of your names on the reservation? If so, those receipts (hers & yours) will prove that you were together.

If you're using your passport as proof of your U.S. citizenship, then copy every page, including the blank ones. It never hurts to submit copies of all pages, regardless. Edited September 24, 2012 by TBoneTX
