Timeline

1. I. Received my NOA2 on d 17th of this mth, my fiance received a hard copy mail telling him our case has been forwarded to beneficiary's consulate which is Nigeria. My questionn is how do I confirm that its arrived here(the. consulate in Nigeria)?

2. Pls if u don't mind kindly give me the step by step guideline from here, meaning what is required of me from here.

the case is going to be sent to NVC. you need to call them and get the case# and provide them with your fiancee information to contact him/her (email address or if there is a change in mailing address). there is a way of tracking your case through DHL to find out if it was shipped to the consulate. you can find this out if you call NVC and they said it was shipped. its best to wait about 10 days after approval to contact NVC and be prepared to provide them with your EAC# from VSC :thumbs:

First of all your case will be forwarded to NVC, call NVC and get your case number

It takes about a week for NVC to review it and send it to Lagos

Once your case has been forwarded to Lagos, You can send an email to LagosIV@state.gov and ask for your appointment date......... Include your name and your case number that starts with LGS

You will need to provide Affidavit of support from him with his employment letter, tax returns, pay stubs

You will need to fill out the DS-156 form

Also the DS-230 form

Get your police report from Alagbon Ikoyi

Get your Medicals done from either of the two clinics the embassy requires
