P.O.E, question.

I didnt really put this in a proper forum because it can relate to anyone.

But I know at the P.O.E they can still turn someone away even though they have a Visa in their passport.

But what reason would prompt this?

(Assuming the Visa is 100% legit from the NVC)

I know my timeline sucks, but my husbands P.O.E was on January 7th, 2013!

Greencard in hand! After almost 4 years, WE DID IT!

If you become a wanted criminal between the days the visa is issued and you enter the US, you will be turned away.

Omg, who would be stupid enough to do that while coming here on a visa they worked hard to get?

Some could be!

Recently I watched videos on youtube about UK Custom Border, where people would bring cigarate/taboco in massive quantity. Like 18,000 cigarate, 200 pounds tabaco. They know for sure that their bags would be scanned, and would be caught, but people still do it.
