my notice says it is being processed at a USCIS office. As soon as I can I will call and ask for a tier 2 rep and see if they can tell me what office it went to or is it at the NBC so then we will know if some are going to USCIS office and others to NBC.

Please update us soon.. Thanks!

Yup. Mine was also set to the status "processing at USCIS office" not local office after being transferred to the NBC over a month ago and has remained that status so far. I thought that it is the NBC processing our cases after being transferred there, but it doesn't necessarily state that since it says just USCIS office. So I wonder now, are those that were sent to the NBC being processed at the NBC or the local offices...hmm... Well, if you are able to get hold of them and find out, do let us know! :)

Yep, they just send applications to NBC since the Service Centers are backlogged. like in my case, CSC. but since there is no processing time of I-130 at NBC the USCIS officer i talked to said, i follow the processing time for my ORIGINAL service center, CSC is 5 MONTHS. but since I am a USC living abroad, still hoping for the Auto expedite que. :)

I was transfered from California office to USCIS-NBC and I got the transfer notice on the 27th of august 2012 and today is 4th of november 2012, and its been about two months and still nothing...........I FILLED ABROAD (USC).........so I was hopping for the "AUTO EXPEDITE QUE" also but I think we may have to forget about that.......................idk I guess we shall see...............I am actually interested in the people that got they're NO2 after they got transfered to USCIS-NBC.....any info on that? Someone should start a thread about it.........

I stopped by the local USCIS office and asked about my case status and the USCIS officer told me to come back in 5 months to ask, before that she has nothing to say to me about my case although I saw her pulling up my file and looking at the info......and said good bye..........kind of sad though cus she was the one that tested me and interogated me when I got my citizenship......

To all those feeling a bit anxious I just received my NOA1 on 11/5/12 sent to Chicago lock box and it was immediately sent to NBC. It seems this has been a trend starting in late summer 2012. I am USC filing CR-1 from USA and documents I sent were in order and what was needed. I think there have been some changes internally routing many cases to the NBC. I would not worry just keep the faith and the truth be told if it is an overload situation processing should go quicker for us all.

So I've seen people surprised that their stuff was forwarded to NBC and MSC, I am from illinois and sent my I-130 to the chicago courier... just wondering, where SHOULD it have been processed in the past PRIOR to all of these transfers?

My i130 directly went to NBC and received MSC number. One of my friend sent his i130 in OCT 1st week to VSC but later it was moved to NBC and he is approved in 70 days. I am still waiting for approval.
