The US embassy is in Tripoli!

The embassy is a secure compound, the consulate at Benghazi was not. The locals are friendly, why play into Al Qaeda's plan, by creating a presence in Tripoli that could change that? Sounds like the Beirut strategy and fail.

Actually I am tickled to death to see it, and i wish the vast majority of Muslims that hate you claim hate terrorism would be much more vocal. At this point I just don't believe that the vast majority of Muslims are peace loving people tha despise AQ, and want free speech and less oppression of women.

That is a very close up shot of what appears to be a very small group of people.
