If I show a title to my property and statement from my realestate agent showing estimated value of a paid off house and from the bank within a 4 month period n bring 4months worth of bank statements with ending balance of $5000 in my savings account a job letter will that be suffient ? Pls advise and let me do the right thing. Interview date is in the first week of December.

Thanks.

You will need 125% of US poverty guideline for your household size, - 2012. Current income counts toward this. Insufficient income can be made up by taking well established assets and dividing by 3, then adding this number to your current income. IE, if you make $15,000 per year (as current income) and have $30,000 in assets divided by 3 ($10,000)... gives a total $25,000, which would make guideline for small household.

Ghana wants tax transcripts- if you dont meet the guidelines i would look for a co-sponsor.

A recent valuation by a licensed appraiser is needed for a real estate asset to be considered.

Recent paystubs along with an employer letter are better evidence of current income.

6 - 12 months worth of account statements are better to show ownership of savings.

If you income is 125% (or more) of the poverty guidelines you don't need to show anything more, just provide tax transcripts and pay stubs.

If you need the assets of the real estate you need to "pay the big buck$ and " get an appraisal from a certified appraiser, real estate agent's "opinion" will not cut it.
