Hi everyone,

I am in the same boat. I am a US citizen and I filed the I-130 for my spouse in July 2012; we have a priority date of July 20, 2012 and our application is at the California Service Center. Has anyone received their NOA2 (or any correspondence from USCIS) yet?

By the way, I called USCIS Customer Service a few days ago and they said that the last application that they processed in this category was on May 21, 2012. So, it is close...

Good luck to everyone!

07/16/12 Sent I-130

07/20/12 Priority Date

07/25/12 NOA1

That's weird I called dec. 7th and they told me they were processing 7/16

You were sent to California, not Vermont like most of the people posting in this thread.

Snowbird7824, so if it has been more then 5 months and you haven't gotten your NOA2 then technically you can submit a service request to the service centers like Vermont service center? Who told you that? an ISO? What's the procedure? Please collaborate some more on how to file a service request.

Thanks!

JBoss .. Sorry to disappoint you . I don't think the uscis is trustworthy . Like I said on my post - I can't submit the e request as it is said it is under normal processing . My husband did the same thing by calling them . But thry said the same thing too . It is crazy . They ask us to call back again at mid July .

It is very easy to do , you just have to give them your case info . Good luck !

Thanks!

You cannot submit a service request until the processing dates exceed your priority date.

See below for VSC's current priority dates for I-130 apps.

You can find them on your own by clicking on this link: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find the Service Center Drop Down Box. Select your service center and click "Service Center Processing Dates."
