Paid Immigrant Processing Fee (Spouse) $230, what now?

I paid the $230 NVC "Immigrant Processing Fee (Spouse)" on Aug 27th, 2012 and am wondering what now?

The information is somewhat confusing. Can I send in the appropriate documents and Form DS-230, or do I have to wait for their request from the NVC?

No you do not have to wait for NVC to request for that, if you have everything in order, send it out ASAP

Is it showing 'PAID' now?

The forms and documentation can be sent to the NVC as soon as the payment portal shows "PAID" for the bill.

Thank you everyone. Online filing is not available in Spain, which seems odd, but that's the way it is.

This step is the first that has confused me.

Next question: If they did not ask for the "Affidavit of Support", but did ask me to pay the 88.00 fee, do I need to submit the form I-864W?

I received the request for payment of the Immigrant Processing Fee one week after I paid the Affidavit of Support Fee, which led me to believe that I did not need to fill it out, however maybe I do?

They are two different tracks and documentation for both is required. Once each is mark paid, you can send the respective packets in.
