Well no touches on our AOS for a while but we did get our email saying the production of his EAD card was ordered yesterday.

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png

good to hear your GC arrived in timely fashion mate and great that at least they got that right - no mistakes lol

have you got y our SSN yet? how did your daughters biometrics go..heard anything in doing it...

congrats to those that have been approved recently...march was a good month for approvals i see...keep them coming CSC ya getting a bit slack again..

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Heya Kath,

Well my daughter's biometrics, hmmm. Because she turned 14 in the meantime (which she wouldn't of been if they had of done her biometrics back when they were supposed to, in September), they did a code 3 on her, all 10 fingerprints and now we have to wait for them to do the background check, which also wouldn't of happened if they weren't a bunch of slack efforts. Sooo, no telling when she will get her card.

She also had some jabs done that day, they get so ####### about that here, (the school) freaking out that her tetanus will run out in June, so we got it done.

Her case was touched back on Thursday (4/5) and on Monday (4/9), Tuesday (4/10)& Wednesday (4/11) so far this week, so at least they seem to be working on it, fingers crossed!!

My SSN finally arrived at the end of January, good going having an EAD I couldn't use from Nov 1st. Now I suppose I need to go back to get it updated at some stage, to get the "valid only with work authorisation" taken off of it, it can wait. I hate dealing with the SS Office here, they are a bunch of no hopers, and there is no other office around here that we could go to as an alternative.

Got my ( green on the back ha ha ha) card and welcome letter today. Woooooooohooooooooo. No mistakes!!!!!!! And I feel the same about the ssn office as you Kaffy, not worth the trouble right away. I don't think it matters if it's done or not. Does it? Anyone know? So glad to be done with USCIS for the next year and 9 months.
