Hi ya,

you can update me. I was transferred from CSC to my local Phoenix office where I did have an interview. I was approved and now I'm waiting on my green card. Good luck CWR! If all else fails, go to your senator. That's what I did, I was done waiting for someone to pick up my file!

Hey, Chocolaterie, that's great news! Congratulations! (F)

Hopefully the card will be in the mail soon :)

I guess I'll wait out the 6-month-since-the-transfer-projected-processing-timeframe (which will be up November 19th), and if nothing has happened by then, we will probably try contacting either our Senator or Congressman.

Enjoy your green card, you waited long enough for it :D

if you have lots of spare time and can stand being on hold for a bit you should call again and actually talk to someone...who knows, something might actually be done?

the phone rep i spoke to last week definitely told me i need to wait out 60 days from sept 5 (when it was received at CSC) before i called again about AOS, and 90 days for EAD...if i dont get my EAD in the meantime im definitely calling back by nov 5th

Really? I merely listend to the recording yesterday where they told me the same information that's on my online account, then the stuff about the 180 days, and then they said something like "this is the most recent information about your case. Our phone agents will not be able to give you any more/other information than what you heard here before the projected processing time is up".......that's when I hung up :D

BUt if you think I might get some more answers, I guess I'll give it another try :)

Thanks,

CW

It was my (Miranda's) birthday and yeah it was our first physically together. We've been together over 6 years but he's always here or I'm there during the Christmas season and over the summer to coincide with my school schedule so it's the first time he's been here in the fall for my birthday :)

NOA: July 25/2006

Transfer to CSC 9/1/2006

Oct 14 got RFE about I-693 as they quote"We only receive vaccination supplement , we need I-693 by civil surgeon "...but my medical exam on April this year before I came to USA ..which means it still valid...enclosed letter explaining the reasons and their own policy about K-1 only need to submit vaccination supplement and vaccination supplement and vaccination documentation worksheet

Oct 19:CSC received the RFE and will con tinue to process the case

OCt 25: Another RFE..sigh....what do they want now?!!.. :bonk:

I emailed CSC around Oct 14th and got the reply today and it said if this ANOTHER RFE for I-693 I should enclosed this email from ofiicer Bruno who replied who i just got today along with "touched" of RFE ...and another vaccination supplement..

Hope another different RFE..cuz if it's I-693 then the officer who's in charge of my case is certainly a moron for not reading my letter and not aware for their own policy and wasting my time... :ranting:

If it's different RFE then how come they don't send me the all RFEs at the same time to save my time instead of pieces by pieces

Oh well sorry to grumble...it just so annoying..

About EAD..My EAD approved on Oct 11th and get the card on 16th NOA dated July 25h 2006..Before that when I checked my case online it said "invalid receipt number".Seems they approved for several weeks before 3 months in my case...so for all of you that wondered about EAD..hang in there

I wish you all have a speedy AOS journey and don't get an officer dumb-o that loves to issue RFE with no reasons or for something that you sent already.

Hey gsmaclean,

I have been keeping an eye on your progress or lack of and I gather there hasn't been any change since they acknowledge they received your RFE last Friday ?? I am gauging your RFE approval as something to compare to mine ....

I find it funny that it took my RFE 4 days to get to Illinois from California ... I turn around and mail it back to CSC and get it to them in 2 days ... Yet it has been 3 days so far and it hasn't managed to get from the mail room to someones desk ....

How hard can it be for them to approve us if they already went through our packages in detail and issued the RFEs regarding what they needed .... You would think all they have to do is review the info that we sent and say yey or ney .... GRRRRRRRRRR

Sorry I am having a frustrating day and I had to vent ... I know many of you have been waiting alot longer than me and I shouldn't be so selfish ...

I am sooooooo disappointed with this whole process not just for me but for everyone ...

Breath .....1......2.....3.....

Breath .....1......2.....3.....

Breath .....1......2.....3.....

Breath .....1......2.....3.....

Ahh there now I am feeling better :)

Of course just after I whine I go check my status and sure enough it has been updated ... It now says

"On October 26, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information."

Atleast I know it moved :)
