Not sure how I missed this but I'm the smart guy that tried to start a new topic for September. Oh well, now I'm in the right place. Hows everyone doing? I filed yesterday.

06-15-2010 Contact USCIS and congress office to see about the requested expedite

06-16-2010 Email from CRIS says application is pending expect and decision in 60days

06-17-2010 Email from USCIS stating RFE sent on 06-17-2010 for AOS

06-18-2010 AOS, EAD and AP touched but petition hasn't been touched since 05-25-2010

06-21-2010 RFE received (Petitioner's Signature on Joint Affidavit was missing)

06-22-2010 Priority Mailed RFE back to USCIS

06-23-2010 RFE Arrives at PO Box in Lees summit(picked up by USCIS 4:30pm)

06-24-2010 RFE received by USCIS and Case resumed

06-28-2010 AOS touched

07-22-2010 Contact USCIS about EAD expedite

07-28-2010 Received mail from USCIS stating employment authorization approved on 07-23-2010

07-28-2010 Received AP Document (Still no update on USCIS webpage since 06-18-2010)

Never waited so eagerly for anyone to take my money, lol. Check Processed, yay, waiting for NOA now.

LOL I had the same thought yesterday. our check hasn't been cashed yet, and I am eagerly waiting to see that our bank account went down by $600. How messed up is that?

No, I'm sorry, I made a mistake, my NOA receipt date was 9/4/12 (sent it earlier but the labor day weekend got in the way) could you please correct that not sure if I can?

I was curious as to what the latest you can file your I-751 paperwork. My husband's ROC window opened on September 10th and we have the majority of our documentation compiled - just finalizing our documents. Of course I am a nervous wreck, panicking that we need to submit everything within a few days of his "window opening" but I do see that some people have waited a month after their window opened to submit their documentation to USCIS. Obviously I know that the sooner your stuff gets out, the better but is there a difference to USCIS if you file the day after you are allowed to file or one month afterwards?

I don't think it makes any difference, provided that you don't file late. However, bear in mind that if you wait until the last few days, and then something goes wrong (shipping is misplaced, it gets returned to you because you forgot to sign a form, etc.) and you run out of time, you're sort of screwed. It's better to allow yourselves some extra time in case you need to resend everything.

I totally agree. I filed as soon as my window opened. Got my NOA today, its a good feeling. Best of luck.
