I was reading some timelines from November and December and it seems like Vermont is running behind on processing. it is taking people 6 - 9 months. There was one person who got it after 10 months. yikes. Some people from November 2011 are still waiting. I hope it speeds up!

Plan is to have mine ready to go off in the mail tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous about it. But I'll be glad when it's out of my hands.

What's the best way to send it off? I know with delivery confirmation. Just USPS Priority mail?

The fastest way is the best way, IMO. I'll just have to see what the $ difference is.

Hey guys, we are going to send our packet in at the end of sept. This is what we are planning on sending. do you think its sufficient:

Copy of permanent resident card

lease of both apartments

car title of my husbands car with both of our names

bank statments from 3 banks

tax returns for both years

Medical insurance info

car insurance with both our names

401 -k plan with my husband as beneficiry

life insurance with my husband as beneficery

lg&e bill with both our names

hawaii plane boarding passes and tickets

2 affidavits from family friends ( are these required?)

Wedding gift cards

apartment insurance

smoky mountains trip pics

credit card statements from two different credit cards

copy of license, insurance cards, credit cards

swimming class letter

phone bill ( they wont add both our names on the bill but our names appear on the actual usage details)

niagra falls pics

insight bill

do you think this is sufficient??

also, I bought a house for my parents before we were married and its under my name only. in order to add my husband, we would have had to refinance, do you think its okay? or will they create an issue cuz I own a house only under my name?

Looks like plenty of evidence :)

Today's the day!! Got it all ready to go for the mail last night and I'm going to the post office at some point today to send it off.

What's the best way?

Express or Priority? I know I need to get delivery confirmation, should I get a return receipt as well?

The quickest way would be the way I'd want to go. Don't really care how much it costs. :D

Now to wait to see when it's going to get there. If not Saturday, then Monday. But, at least it's on the way!!
