Thanks! We hadn't planned on filing any later than the next week or so! We just want to move onto the next chapter of our lives!!

Another question - when submitting joint bank statements to USCIS, it is required to have your full bank account number showing or can you black out any of the numbers? While I appreciate the fact that our account information should be secure with USCIS, it does make me nervous feeling so exposed that my bank account number is there for anyone who touches our file sees!

I didn't have that problem because our bank redacts the first few numbers in our statements, and shows the account number as XXXXXXXXX1234. However, I don't think that showing your entire account would pose a risk: the worst that can happen is that somebody at USCIS generously makes a wire transfer into your account (very unlikely but certainly welcome :D). Joking apart, when you send your check for the payment of the fees, they will have all your bank information already (including the routing number). Credit card numbers are a different story.

I guess I shouldn't be so concerned, considering it isn't like my husband and I are millionaires!

As far as pictures go, what is the general feeling of submitting photos? My husband and I do not have any children yet and neither one of us have life insurance policies at this juncture. We have plenty of other documentation proving the validity of our marriage, but I worry that since we do not have two items specified on the I-751 instructions, that USCIS will see that as unacceptable by their standards.

If you are sending copy of your GC, you are good. They are only required if you reside overseas pursuant to military or government orders.

We are preparing the package I751...

Do we need to send our marriage certificate with I751 form? :innocent:

I don't think it is a requirement. I didn't send it, few of my friends filed last year and they didn't send it.

My understanding is that while photos are not the strongest of evidence, they're not harmful either. They want to see the intermingling of your financial lives more than anything else. My husband and I also do not have children or life insurance but I'm not worried with all the other evidence we have in regards to financials.

Should I have sent new passport size photos with our application.

Nope. Your foreign spouse will have new photos taken at their biometrics appointment. :)

I believe they already have that from when you submitted it with previous paperwork. We didn't include it with ours. Didn't feel like it was proof anything beyond that we got married, which they know from our AOS.

Did anyone submit their W-2s along with the copies of their tax documents?

I have the tax documents from 2011 and 2010. They are both unsigned since they were submitted electronically.
