your answer ease me alot. the system should have some protection for those sponsor. Incase the things didn't come out the way it should.

There would be no point in having the I-864 if the sponsor could pull out when things go wrong... That is EXACTLY when it is needed. If you are not responsible for them then the rest of us are and we never agreed to it..

If he was talking about the I 134, then I would agree. The I 864 is theoretically enforceable however you will go a long way to find examples of it being enforced.
