Saturday 5pm projected path - Isaac projected to hit the FL panhandle as a cat 2.

Saturday 8pm projected path - no noticable changes to the earlier projected path. Unless they moved NO to the FL panhandle by 8pm, I'd say that Rush was high on drugs again to make the statement.

Sunday 2pm projected path - slight shift to the west but Isaac is still projected to hit the FL panhandle as a cat 2.

Sunday 8pm projected path - now Isaac was actually closing in on New Orleans.

Exactly!

For liberals/progressives fact and truth are virtually synonymous. For right wingers and especially the religious right ideology trumps fact every day. It should come as no surprise. After all, these people have been brainwashed every week to believe as 'truth' things which have no basis in actual evidence and which fly in the face of reason. I think this is what makes the current GOP so attractive to the extremely religious types out there. They are becoming our 'taliban'!
