I was hoping that someone might could give me a heads up on what to expect next concerning the Affidavits Of Support?

Our Petition I-129F/ Spouse was Approved on August 20, 2012 so the NOA2 is enroute to me and enroute to the NVC.

I am the Petitioner and I am just trying to get prepared for what's coming next. This what we have been waiting for and it has put a lot of stress on my wife and I as I'm sure it does everyone.

My question this: How does a person know which Affidavit Of Support they will receive...??? Is it a simple luck of the draw...???

It is usually I-134. But check with your embassy or post in the Moroccon forum

Do you plan to get the K3 visa or the CR1 visa? Did you file the I-130 petition along with the I-129F?

Typically the K visa uses the 134 and the CR1 visa uses the 864. It seems that Casa uses the I-864 for either type.

In most cases the CR1 visa is the better choice. Less paperwork after US entry, the spouse can work immediately.

They will ask you for the I864 and may be other things like more evidence...I wish you good luck.
