Still waiting for NOA2

Salam all,

I'm still waiting on my NOA2, my due date was on 2/March, we kept calling in the past few days, but they kept telling us they are still processing 27/March. Today, when we called them, they told us they are processing the 7th of Feb in Vermont, and they refused to do any further action on our application. However, have anyone heard anything from them, can anyone advice us to do anything, please, your help is appreciated.

The worse part that after our due date by one week, they've accepted all the people (here in VISA JOURNEY) with the same date as ours but us, and that's really killing us, so can anyone tell us anything about what to do or what to try with them, thank you..:)

Vermont is slowly coming out of an ice age... they are just now starting on March, so just hang in there a little while longer!

Unfortunately VSC has been way behind. You are just at 5 months. There's really no Due date. VSC is at about 6 to 7 months processing. All you can do is wait it out its coming.

Your case is taking longer, probably because it's Jordan. You can do nothing but wait.

Like I said and many have said just to help you you can not compare your file date to others. There is alot of things that have to be done with background checks, and whole lot of stuff. And your service center also is very behind. There's many filing way before you still waiting. Sorry.

Don't worry about the wait time because there is nothing you can really do. As long as they acknowledge your paperwork is there and just in a que to be processed. It appears from average processing times on VJ it will be around September or October that Vermont processes your paperwork. Let us know if you're one of those on VJ that gets processed sooner!

Thank you for your reply

According to my understanding for the entire situation now, after reading a couple of stories, and after my wife contacted the USCIS several times that; they've transferred the Syrian refugees to VSC, while they still have the same stuff, which made an overload and cause some to be delayed, while other officers kept working on there same share of applications, and that's why you find some people being accepted on there expected time while other are not!!

However, my wife called several times, but they kept blanking her, and she was fighting with them all the time, until her last phone call on 8/24, she talked to someone over there in a very polite way, and finally, he wrote her a service request, then he said to her....I will make sure you will hear from us within 5 DAYS, not 15 DAYS as usual, and I will push your application........Anyway, after almost 30 minutes, we received an e-mail stating that we will receive a reply within 60 days...LOL!!

So I'm not sure about what will happened, and I'm pretty sure, all what I can do now is to wait!! Of course I will keep everyone posted if anything new happened :)

Good luck to all of you, and thank you for your help :)

Thats the spirit to keep your humor and just smile and wave. You will go crazy calling and listening to their scripted timeline. Oh wait until you get to NVC with there 10 to 20 days for everything it would take liek a year just to get through NVC.
