ds-156 question

Good day! this is my 2nd time filling for fiancee visa for same person. the first application was denied due to incorrect forms submitted. We are happy happy that 2nd application was approved and now my fiancee is preparing for her interview. we are kinda confused on wat to answer on ds-156 form. there is a question n there if my fiancee has visa refusal. Would it be a yes or a no?

Please clarify the visa was denied or the petition was denied???

If only petition was denied then your answer would be "NO", however if she applied to actual visa in US Embassy and it was denied, then the answer would be "YES".

THERE IS DIFFRENCE BETWEEN VISA AND PETITION.IF THE APPLICATION WAS DENIED AT PETITION STAGE THEN SHE HAS NO VISA REFUSAL

Then you just put a big "NO" . (Assuming she has never applied for any type of visa to USA prior, and have been denied)
