They are saying they will not let him go.

Foreign Secretary William Hague: Britain will not allow WikiLeaks found Julian Assange safe passage out of UK, despite Ecuador's granted asylum on Thursday.

"We will not allow Mr. Assange safe passage out of the United Kingdom, nor is there any legal basis for us to do so,'' Hague told a news conference in London. "The United Kingdom does not recognize the principle of diplomatic asylum.''

If the UK storms the Embassy, then they're no better than that rogue regime in Tehran.

Not exactly. They can give 1 weeks notice for police to enter under international law.

Iranians stormed the embassy without notice and took hostages.

England and Britain are two very different things. Try and learn the difference so you don't look so ignorant.

You're usual MO. Not surprising. I thought it was the U.K? At least that what it says under your flag.

I'd like someone to tell me how this guy is going to get to Quito? I have a few suggestions.

Maybe they can give him a spoon and tell him to start digging. The earth's diameter is only 12,700 miles. Better yet maybe they can just transport him Star Trek style.

 You thought it was the U.K.? Really? You really should try and learn basic geography. You sound as informed as Mitt Romney on that subject.

He isn't going to get there, Britain is threatening to storm the embassy.

They can exert the same pressure as when Noriega took refuge in the Holy See's embassy in Panama and finally gave up.

Yeah, I highly doubt you will see police entering the embassy.

If they are smart they won't.

Yes, London is in the U.K. Congrats on getting that right... You said "England", scroll up.

Yeah, I highly doubt you will see police entering the embassy.

I hope not. This will put a lot of strain on the relationship with Edcuador. They can always expel the diplomats though.

So then we all agree that London is no longer in England.

They speak English over there still - don't they?
