Sent our K1 petition last August 10, 2012!!

Hey guys, I sent my petition on August 10th as well. I received the email notification that the application has been received and routed to VSC on August 14, however I have not received the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) that was supposed to come within 7-10 business days. Have you?

Thanks,

Originally sent our packet in April but was rejected and sent back due to incorrect fee. Wanted to just create another packet and send it with the correct fee amount but was advised to wait for the original packet and send it back. Long wait before we got the package back from Texas to the Philippines. Resent it August 18 with correct fee payment by check. They received it August 22. We are waiting for them to cash the check and send us our NOA1 by email. Good luck this second time around. My love says, his papers are so lucky since they do not need a visa and have gone back and forth to the U.S. while he is still waiting for his visa. LOL.

Good Luck for us!

Check cashed 08/29/2012. I called customer service and was told that our case was given a new receipt number and papers have been forwarded to CSC instead of VSC (original service center). yeah!!!

You should receive it soon, maybe you already have. I'm replying to this kind of late. Good luck.
