How politicians turned 2t into 14t according to you really has nothing to do with OP. But since you're at it, then yes. Illigal/undocumented people have access to certain benefits, this is even without having paid as much as a dollar into anything. Blind population? Blehh. Ignorant thought process when saying 10.000 doesn't matter because of [insert whatever reason you'd prefer]? Ding-ding-ding. If you're suggesting to just play by the same "grand larceny rules" as politicians, then I suggest you include that in your VAWA claim and see how far that'll get you as an upcoming lawful permanent resident.

Illegal immigrants aren't the reason we have national debt. The reason we have national debt is because everyone in this country

1. Wants to have a bunch of government services

2. Wants to have an enormous imperialistic military stretched across the globe that is more expensive than every other military on the planet combined and

3. Wants to have lower taxes so that we don't have to actually pay for numbers 1 and 2.

That's the way it is, and that's the way it always will be, unless things come crashing down on us at some point.

My ex-mother-in-law is Canadian, has lived in Canada all her life, has access to Canadian healthcare. Has had cancer several times over the years that seems to come back up, and she keeps beating it into remission.

Her last bout ... she went just over the border from San Diego into Mexico ... and got her chemo treatments in Mexico for like 7 weeks. I remember her mentioning years ago that while the healthcare was excellent in Canada ... it took ages to get an appointment to see the kind of doctor she required

I agree: contrary to popular american belief, Canadians don't have any magic solution. Thank god I haven't made one smoking puff since I was 18 - and haven't seen a doctor since. Which reminds me to caution any pregnant family: everyone should quit in advance of birth. Those thinking it's enough to not smoke near the baby are wrong: babies smell smoke on your body and clothes
