I met my husband, who is a us citizen, in Usa 2007. We kept in contact over internet and phone for 3 years before we finally met again in 2010. We where so in love and wanted to spend the rest of our lifes together so we got engaged. In 2011 I came over to Usa again so we could get married and now we was applying for him to move to Sweden. 5 months after he was moving here.

Before he moved here I was traveling back and forth to Usa on vwp so we could see eachother and I had no problem getting in to Usa even though I was married to an Us citizen.

But now he has been living here in Sweden for 5 months and it´s hard for him to get a job. He reads swedish at school but it dont pay anything.

So we have now decided we should move to Usa. He will get his old job back, it´s not a well paid job, but still an income. He have no resident in Usa so he will stay with his family.

But the thing is: How can I go there? My husband don´t earn that much, have no own place and no family who can be able to be joint sponsor. I don´t even have enough to sponsor myself. But we know that we will make it. We will stay with his family and we will work hard so we don´t need any help from the goverment to support us.

But how can we legally get me to Usa without proper answers about he sponsor me?

We know all about what papers we have to fill in but the problem is the sponsor part.

There is noone who could sponsor you from his friends or family? Sadly this is a requirement to get a visa.

About $350/week. I know that isn´t much but we will make it and he is only going to work there for awhile then he is going to get his CDL and make more money.

If there is truly no-one who can co sponsor (cats the net wide- relatives in other states, church family, old co-workers...), you guys have two options:

- He looks harder for a job in Sweden.

- He moves to the US ahead of you, gets his CDL and a better paying job, or a second job, so he can sponsor you.

Yes we are thinking about he going ahead but we really don´t want to be apart form eachother.

If he will not meet the income requirements and there is no joint sponsor, nothing can he done. You will have to deal with being apart if you really want to go. :(

Instead of having a sponsor contract there should be a contract with the immigrant that he/she will not be a public charge.

It´s so easy for a foreigner to move to his/her spouse in Sweden. The foreinger can´t apply for any benefits when he comes so he/she have to rely on the spouse no matter what the spouses income are. But still there is no contract-so they can live together as spouses should!

If there was a contract that would tell me to not seek any benefits and don´t be a public charge, I would sign it right away! And if I still seek, just turn me down like they do here in Sweden. At least Sweden lets spouses live together no matter what income they have. There are people all over the world living with low income and still survives!

Wake up America! I´m not coming to take your money, I´m coming to stay with the person I love!
