Round trip or One-Way Ticket for K-1 Visa

Hello I wanted to confirm if a round trip or one-way ticket is needed for my fiance once the K-1 visa has been issued.

If you have AA miles, you can use them and get a flight for as cheap as 15,000 miles one way, depending on the flight date. I'd imagine it would even cost that much to make up the miles if you don't have 15,000 yet.

You can use whichever you prefer. Often RT is cheaper.

There is no requirement either way. Totally up to you.

Just remember to cancel the return ticket if you're not planning on using it since they do sometimes screw up and not remove you from the passenger list. That'll screw up your AOS.

Personally, a return ticket was alot cheaper for me. I put return date 8 months out in the future. About some weeks prior, I asked for a refund. It wasn't much but I got the refund and it automatically cancelled my return ticket. Win/win!

As others have said, whichever is cheaper/best for you. Entering on a K1 doesn't require a return ticket.
