There is no specific timeline for a decision after receipt of RFE. You can only hope that yours take less than the usual 60 days stated. Mine took 44 days from the day USCIS updated my case to the day I got the decision. While some get a decision in much less than 60 days and even much less than mine, others others get theirs in more than the 60 days. Should yours take more than the 60 days, then I suggest you contact them or your congress representative to assistance.

Just like to know how many weeks does it usually take for USCIS to give a response when they received/review one's RFE submission? (I know max time is about 60 days)

as for my case i got my son's NOA approved after 5 days of submitting the RFE. TIP: CALL YOUR SENATOR and ask for help ;)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.]1st Cor 13: 4-7

I did that before with our senator but it was useless. Instead of giving me solutions or referrals gave me a bunch of campaign trash mail and emails.

In that case, you probably contacted that Senator's campaign office, not his/her constituent services office. There is a big difference. Look up the correct info on www.senate.gov

It was to do with his criminal record (nothing serious haha!) It was really complicated to get what they needed and it took us a while to get it, so I don't know if that was why they took so long to process it.

maybe thats why it take them forever to review it. my rfe is just a simple mistake. but it wasn't that simple for CSC to approved it i guess

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!
