11th Business day since NVC recieved my file still no case number

I called NVC this morning got the same answer wait 10-20 business days .

You are just like me got approved in 102 days me on June 29. So here I am waiting for that "Case Received". Think I will call again this evening. Its' just weird no method to their madness. Although the lady last week said depending on your case what kind it is determines how fast it get a case number. I wonder if its Country/Embassy specific? Like if the Embassies are like busy do they kind of hold on to cases. Hmmm

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

16-Feb-2012: NoA1 via text/email. Case transferred to VSC.

21-Feb-2012: NoA1 hard copy received.

28-Jun-2012: Approval Notice via email

02-Jul-2012: NoA2 hard copy received.

03-Jul-2012: NVC received case

18-Jul-2012: Case#/ IIN received

19-Jul-2012: NVC took email addresses of wife and mine

19-Jul-2012: DS3032 Emailed

24-Jul-2012: AOS Bill Paid

25-Jul-2012: AOS payment Accepted by NVC

26-Jul-2012: Mailed AOS Packet

27-Jul-2012: NVC received AOS packet

31-Jul-2012: DS3032 Accepted

It took 20 business days for us, 28 days.....just got the case number today...

Dec 22- I129F sent TSC
Dec 27- txt/email NOA1
Dec 29- NOA1 Hard Copy Received
May 31- RFE text/email...oh wells ....
June 05- RFE letter
June 06 - RFE sent
June 11- RFE received at CSC
June 15- NOA2!!!!!!!!!!! So great!!!!!!!
July 16- NVC Received Case
September 27 - Interview Approved
October 10- POE NEW YORK
November 17- Wedding day
December 24- AOS Package sent

It took 20 business days for us, 28 days.....just got the case number today...

This is the normal right now guys. It takes 20 BUSINESS DAYS meaning monday to friday add for holidays! Estimate about a MONTH! from the NOA2 and you should have your case number.

Good to know. Hopefully the process after the case number is assigned moves along quicker.
