You wish - everything is so simplistic to right wingers - you are wrong with a capital W , the British electoral system is safer and better and encourages more citizens to vote - so that's the end of that

Most of those are black/Hispanic/poor

Its disgraceful and an insult to the constitution

People who try and prevent US Citizens from voting should be jailed

People who make phone calls to minorities saying no need to vote because the election happened yesterday - they should be jailed too. They would in the UK

I think a 10 year minimum with no parole would be appropriate

..and the loss of their guns for life

A second offense should see them sent to Afghanistan for 40 years to maintain their sewage system - without pay

If/when there is a national health plan will there be any way that people will not have the appropriate ID for that? Extremely doubtful.

Not having a national ID is deeply ingrained in our psyche, but the day is coming. And we are smart enough to figure out how to do it.

Go to a store that sales guns and ask them the requirements and process in order to purchase a gun. Now try again.

The truth of it is the Left and their failed policies are like parasites invading a healthy body and the gravy train is over.

In the end when they have their way and win out, the dead corps resembles nothing of the HEALTHY VIBRANT BODY that they destroyed.

As I have stated previously, in this state you must have a birth certificate to get an ID. To get a birth certificate you must have an ID. Charging people for birth certificates is wrong, we got rid of the poll tax.

I thought you people were against anything to do with government anyway ?

Putting your rights at the mercy of a government department ?

In the UK you don't need any ID never mind photo id - but if you try and pull a fast one you get jailed. What's wrong with that system ?

Voter ID's are not the reason Mississippi has been trending Republican for the last decade. I think I would be blaming first the failed policies of the Democrats in Mississippi regarding the poor, and second, recognize the fact the south will no longer support a party dominated by Yankee liberals.

Look if we can't require a basic civics test in order to vote, I don't think requiring a Birth certificate and I.D. are too much.
