Is there any way to find out PD from BMB CASE NUMBER ?

Like BMB2010764072 ... here the year must be 2010..what about month and day ?

BMB2010764072 case number, it metioned that nvc received this case about on sept 20 2010. Thats mean that 5-8 months before that someone sent his or her case to USCIS!

They count months on a fiscal year schedule. October is month=1, November=2, etc.

XXX #### ### ###

The first set (three letters) of the case number is the consulate/embassy code.

The second set (four numbers) is the year the case number was assigned.

The third set (three numbers) is the three digit Julian date plus 500.

And the fourth set (three numbers) is the serial number of the day the case number was assigned.

So, for example, say you're going through the consulate in Montreal and your case was assigned on May 21st, 2010 and was the 13th case to be assigned a number, your case number would be: MTL 2010 641 013.

I think that the petitioner became a US citizen, that's why NVC scheduled interview earlier!
