Hello All, my NOA2 is going on 6 months now (NO NOTIFICATION).. Very discouraged with thier process and called USCIS yesterday, all i could do was file a claim and they gave me a Referral# with CA USCIS. Then told to wait patiently :whistle: for 15 days and if no notification afterwards to call USCIS back.. :angry: Other VJers that filed their CR-1 after us have received their NOA2.. :crying:

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

I filed November 2011 and hubby and I are STILL waiting for NOA2. I contacted the USCIS by email and they said the security checks are pending. We don't really know what that means. They haven't started? They are waiting for Kosovo to answer? We don't anticipate anything negative but are wondering why the delay.

compared to what?

it's more like 3 months late if you compare it to just a few months ago.

so to make an avarege,

I would say 2 months late!!

please get your facts straight and be more specific.

If they are running 3 months late then maybe NOA2 will come the end of July....hoping! The waiting is crazy hard

YUP, I called yesterday, I was told processing times is now 6 months, sickening........ when I see February, March and April filers approved..... I'm happy/jealous.....

Seriously?! Then why is it when we check the processing time on the website it says the USCIS goal is 5 months? I've been lurking the forum for the past couple of days & noticed how some people had their cases processed very quickly.....my application was received by them Dec 30th 2011 & we got our NOA 1 Jan 9th 2012. The wait is frustrating as hell!

I asked my lawyer. She said the processing times posted are unreliable. She told me times now are between 9 and 12 months from filing to interview. :crying:

And our lawyer keeps telling us not to worry!! We just have to think positively until this whole thing is over.

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

I agree with you both.. This is very fruastrating, I just want & need my husband with me so we can start our lives together.. I miss him dearly..

I just checked your timeline & I noticed our I-130's were received around the same time...I miss my husband as well. I thought CSC was supposed to be fast (in comparison to other centers) when it came to processing but it doesn't seem so. Let's just hope it doesn't take MORE than 12 months.
